PROPOSED STATUTORY REGULATORY FRAMEWORK OF THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT PROFESSIONS During a meeting held on the 5th of May 2011, the DPW unveiled their latest proposals regarding the future of the Councils controlling the built-environment professions. The proposals are contained in a discussion document which highlights the background to- and the changes in policy proposed by the DPW. It is imperative that all professionals take note of the proposed changes and partake in the debate as the implementation of the policy will definitely impact on their future.
