LETTERS FROM THE REGISTRAR

Steve Lyons 95pxSteven Lyons is committed to make the Council more accessible to its members. To achieve this he writes e-letters to registered quantity surveyors on a regular basis.

The content of these newsletters touch on issues relevant to the profession such as CPD, mentorship, tribunals, etc.

This week Steve takes a look at “Housekeeping and Revision” and gives some guidelines to follow when paying your SACQSP registration fee. It is important to note that if the SACQSP receives payment after the 31st of May a late payment penalty of R1,000 for Professionals and R500 for Candidate QS’s will be levied.

ICEC2012logoWe look forward to welcoming you to the forthcoming ICEC 8th World Congress held in South Africa during June 2012. The host city is Durban, situated in the KwaZulu-Natal Province - a seaside resort known as the 'holiday playground' of the region.

ICEC 2012 affords registered South African Quantity Surveyors the ideal opportunity to gather CPD points prior to the compulsory re-registration that awaits most of them in March 2013.
